Raku and Glass
Incorporating Glass Into the Raku Firing Process
In this video workshop, I go through my process of incorporating glass into the Raku firing process. Raku generally refers to a type of low-firing process that was developed in Japan in the early 1500’s as the Ceremonial Tea Ware of the Zen Buddhist Masters. There have been many variations to this firing technique over the years. I have learned how to take this process to the next level by incorporating glass into this firing process. This course will take you through my process from beginning to end. At the end of the course, you will have the knowledge to start exploring this technique and create your own one-of-a-kind pieces and discover the unlimited possibility of this exciting firing process.
